St. Luke's Lutheran Church is a place where all are welcome, regardless of where you've
come from or where you are in your life's journey. Here in this place we celebrate the richness and diversity of all God's people. Our worship is richly traditional, honoring the words and the meal that have always united us throughout time. Our words are today's words. We hear how God is speaking to us in our present reality, and how God calls us to be in the world today.
All are welcome as members of the Body of Christ, as workers in the kingdom of God, and at the table of our Lord. We would love to have you join us in our ministry and make St. Luke's your church home!
Holy Week at St. Luke's
Service starts at 10 a.m. in the Memorial Garden with a blessing of palms
We will celebrate Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem by processing with palms into the sanctuary for the word and communion meal.
The service ends with the reading of the passion story from Matthew.
April 17th 7 p.m.
At the heart of the Maundy Thursday liturgy is Jesus' commandment to love one another. We are called to follow his example as we humbly care for one another,
especially the poor and unloved.
April 18th 7 p.m.
This moving tenebraw service will help us focus upon the Seven Last Words of Jesus as he hung on the cross. Through music, word, and diminishing light, we will remember the ultimate sacrifice of Christ for us and reflect upon the life-giving cross.
Easter Breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m. prepared by the youth
Free will offering will go toward the cost of their mission trip to Colorado.
